Eddie and Me

I am currently blogging on my Valley of Dawn College blog website. My MA in documentary at Goldsmiths is coming along nicely and we are editing the film right now. Do follow me there.
Last night I met Eddie Izzard. He did a secret very small gig in Worcester and then came to the bar after to chat. He was funny, engaging, polite and I was a lolloping teen of about 15.
I have sometimes thought I might be friends with Eddie Izzard, which is a bit creepy, [for him] as I don't know him. Having said that, I thought that about Paula Yates before I met her, and she did become a dear friend.
It is very strange meeting someone when you feel like you know them, but you don't. It must be weird for them too, not very pleasant in fact.
He used to live around my area about 12-15 years ago as far as I recall and he was often about, shopping and what-not and not nearly as famous as he is now. He is kind of super famous now.
I am so used to video blogging that I did not have all my manners about me, and although he willingly made a sweet little video for me, there were times when I would have preferred to turn it off. If someone did that to me, I would think they were quite rude. So I won't be posting the rest of it, I shall only post the one he actively made.
Be great if he does watch my film when it is finished, surely he will appreciate a woman in a decent frock.
He said he would look at the trailer, but the trailer does not do this film justice, the film is beautiful and magical and spectacular.
and......
I never thought I fancied him before, but last night he was quite sexy and cute as well as funny, smart and polite. Ah. sigh.
